The Granbery PTA is excited to bring back the “super” successful Read-a-Thon as our Fall Fundraiser this year.
This Read-a-Thon will be our major fundraiser for the year; we will not be selling gift wrap, cookie dough, or coupon books. 100% of the proceeds raised will fund the purchases and programs our PTA supplies for our children. Every child benefits from the PTA and its fundraisers, and your pledges and support are vital to our school.
Our participation goal is 100%. With support from family, friends, and neighbors as sponsors, we hope each student will raise a minimum of $50 and read a minimum of 100 minutes to reach our school goal of $37,000 and 74,000 minutes! We think you will be surprised by how many people are willing to sponsor a child to read. Your child should start seeking sponsors and collecting pledges TODAY and should continue throughout the remainder of the Read-a-Thon period.
The official Read-a-Thon kick off will be Friday, September 9th and will last until Sunday, September 18th. Fundraiser packets will be sent home with the students to explain the details of the fundraiser and will include reading and sponsor logs. We have some very exciting activities and prizes planned for the children!
